Last night Wayne Swan quit as both the deputy leader of the Labor Party, and as Treasurer, but unlike Julia Gillard, he won't be retiring from politics at the next election. At the last election, Mr Swan's margin in the Brisbane seat of Lilley was cut from 8 per cent to 3.2 per cent.
