Family, friends and dignitaries will gather in north-east Arnhem Land tomorrow to honour the lead singer of Yothu Yindi, Mr M. Yunupingu, at a state memorial service. Mr Yunupingu was a teacher, musician, a champion of reconciliation and the 1992 Australian of the Year. He died earlier this month at the age of 56 after suffering from kidney disease for several years. Source: abc.net.au
