Libyan warplanes have bombed a military airport in the rebel stronghold of Benghazi as fierce fighting continues in the strategic town of Ajdabiya, 160 kilometres away. Rebel fighters refused to allow foreign reporters to see the damage at the airport or to enter Ajdabiya.
