COSTA MESA (CBSLA.com) — A Costa Mesa soup kitchen is giving thanks a day early after receiving a flood of donated food for its annual Thanksgiving feast. Chef Lorrie Sanchez from the Someone Cares Soup Kitchen made an appeal for food Tuesday in order to feed hundreds of people on Turkey Day. She said the response has been overwhelming.
