Convictions quashed for homosexuals convicted under Victoria\'s antiquated gay laws MP3

In an effort to put an end to years of discrimination, the Victorian Parliament has voted to overturn old criminal convictions recorded against consenting homosexuals. Homosexuality was decriminalised in that state in 1980, but those who were prosecuted on indecency charges before that date have suffered the on-going burden of a criminal record. Source: abc.net.au
